Workshop on Technologies & applied research in proton-therapy 2026
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to inform you that the Workshop on Technologies & applied research in proton-therapy 2026 will be held in Madrid, Spain at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) from January 21th (Wednesday) to January 23rd (Friday) 2026.
This workshop aims to continue fostering collaboration between the clinical, scientific, and technological communities in the context of the expanding proton therapy landscape. Building on the momentum of the previous editions held in Santiago de Compostela (2023) and Valencia (2024), this edition provides a platform to exchange ideas, share recent developments, and explore synergies between treatment centers, researchers, and infrastructure developers.

- II Spanish Workshop in Protontherapy (2018) in Sevilla
The event will highlight ongoing and planned facilities, present cutting-edge research, and encourage dialogue with international experts to foster innovation and optimize clinical and technological applications in proton therapy. As in previous editions, we expect contributions from:
- Healthcare and radiotherapy professionals
- Proton therapy infrastructure and technology experts
- Researchers focused on proton therapy applications
Participation is free of charge (registration required) and includes full access to all sessions, including oral presentations, invited talks, and the poster session. Contributions are welcome but not required to attend.
